Community hubs provide a central access point for a range of needed health and social services, along with cultural, recreational, and green spaces to nourish community life. No community hub is like another, as each brings together a variety of different services, programs and/or social and cultural activities to reflect local community needs. It is this diversity of activity that allows community hubs to play a critical role in building economic and social cohesion in the community. Today, Cornwall Community Hospital, in partnership with Counselling and Support Services of S.D.&G. and the City of Cornwall, Social Services Department held an open house in Winchester at their Community Care Bui
The Cornwall Community hospital services, new to the hub, will include: Psychogeriatrics, Outpatient mental health hospital services, counselling and support services as well as Children’s mental health programs. We are pleased to be part of this initiative and embrace the benefits of collaborating with one another,” expresses Raymond Houde, Executive Director of Counselling and support services of S.
